Wholesale Alternanthera Plants

Alternanthera plants are grown for their brilliantly-colored foliage, ranging in shape from elliptical to lance-like, but always striking and always with pointed tips, and ranging in color from deepest, darkest purple to hot, hot pink.


Often called Joseph’s Coat or Joyweed, our wholesale Alternanthera, pronounced all-ter-NAN-ther-ah, can be planted for either a carpeted effect, as when growing for a ground cover, or further apart for accenting color. Pinching the new growth will encourage bushier growth.


Each wholesale Alternanthera plant tray will measure 21 3/8” X 11 3/16”, with each of 50 individual cells measuring 1 3/4” square X 2 1/4” deep.
