Imagination Verbena is an All-America Selections winner, this vivid purple cultivar having hues of reddish-purple to deep blue all on the same plant as the blossoms age and being particularly drought and heat-tolerant. Producing very dense plants, it is suggested to use this variety as a groundcover on slopes to prevent soil erosion, though it will be just as happy trailing from hanging planters.
