The 'Tuberosa' Asclepias Plant produces flower clusters that are brilliant orange, sometimes tending to be very reddish-orange, depending upon the moisture and sunshine available. This variety is most often called Butterfly Weed because it is believed the colors, orange and red, are more attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds. Comment: I've been growing the Tuberosa Asclepias for many years and love it every year it blooms! Make sure you 'mark' the spot where it's growing, so you don't dig it up accidentally until it starts showing new green growth in the Spring.

Comment: All the plants arrived in good condition the soil was still moist . When I planted them they survived and are beginning to thrive, I look forward to their brilliant orange bloom every year.

Comment: I ordered 8 of the tuberosa ascleias plants last year, & they arrived in fantastic condition.I was impressed by the strong, healthy, well developed root system, the container was packed w/roots. They did very well, & bloomed soon after I planted them. They are a great buy for the money. When I realized I was short 1 plant, I called, & got outstanding customer service. My additional plant was shipped right away, at no charge to me.
