Thunbergia Flower Seeds |

Thunbergia Flower seeds produce very similar flowers to the Rudbeckia plant, the Black-Eyed Susan, but growing on a vine, rather than on a bushy type plant, making it even more versatile and sought after, especially for hanging containers, window boxes or tall stand planters. Actually called Black-Eyed Susan Vine, Thunbergia, pronounced thoon-BURG-ee-uh, and often followed by grandiflora or alata, is also called the sky-flower vine or the Bengal trumpet, their trumpet-shaped blossoms setting them apart from the Black-Eyed Susan, the Rudbeckia, first seen growing on the American plains. Depending upon the genus, you will have a choice of colors ranging from beautiful blues to deepest orange, with a few white and bicolor cultivars thrown in for good measure. An annual in most of the country, there are those gardeners who would rather grow Thunbergia than any perennial vine, as it blooms the entire season, loves the heat, and in one person’s words, “is downright pretty all season and even into fall!” As all blooming flowers expend a lot of energy, we recommend regular feeding with Jungle Flora or Espoma Flower-tone®, both of which are approved for organic gardening and are safe for your family, pets, livestock and water habitats, as well as being specially formulated for blooming plants. Each order of our fresh Thunbergia seeds is filled by hand, put into a resealable plastic bag and then placed into a labeled seed packet. It is our goal to provide our customers the best in freshness and quality. |
