Swan, a Teckni-plex company, has been in business since 1927. Originally the Swan River Tire and Rubber Company, it diversified in 1929 and has been going strong ever since. Swan was one of the first companies to start reclaiming and recycling rubber products in the 1950s and is now the largest recycling site in the state of Ohio.
