Regatta Rose Lobelia Flower Seeds

SKU: SFS-LOB-REGRO-ER
Our ‘Regatta Rose’ Lobelia Flower Seed bears incredibly richly-colored, purply-rose Indian Tobacco blossoms with white eyes, at least 3 weeks before your other Indian Tobacco will be in bloom. Being well-branched and without grassy centers, there is no need to fill with something else, though mixing colors and textures is an entirely different thing! Multi-seed pellets have 3 to 5 seeds per pellet. Approximately 50 pellets per each hand-filled packet. More details...

Regatta Rose Lobelia Flower Seeds

Lobelia seed requires light for germination and is so tiny that you really cannot sow them individually, unless using pelletized seed. Simply sprinkle the seeds across a good growing medium, whether starting them indoors or out, push them gently but firmly into the soil and then water very gently, but thoroughly, so as not to move the seeds around. Warm or room-temperature water will aid germination. Due to their size and the time they take to germinate, it may be easier to start them in seed starting trays so it is possible to water them without disturbing the seeds, or use a soaker hose for irrigation if planting directly into the garden. Germination averages 14 to 20 days with soil temperatures of 70 to 80°F.
