Raccoons and Skunks are a nuisance! Raccoons make up for in damage and the mess they leave, what skunks perpetrate just by passing through. (P-ewwww!)
As we humans continue to encroach on their living and breeding areas, we are having more and more contact with these wild creatures, that are not only unpleasant neighbors, but that can carry numerous diseases, the worst of which is rabies. In order to protect your family, your pets and your property, humane but effective action is necessary!
Depending upon your individual situation, you may find that electric fencing is an option, simply cordoning off those areas where these critters congregate, or that a water barrier, strategically placed will discourage the raccoons and skunks from returning. Both of these options are designed to “condition” the pest, making your particular property, inhospitable, forcing them to go elsewhere to wreak their havoc. P.S.
