Peanut Seed

Peanut Seed will attract some of the most entertaining wild birds to your birdfeeders. In fact, some birders claim to double the activity at their bird feeders by offering raw peanuts.


Available as both whole peanuts and peanut pieces, peanuts are an exceptional source of fat and protein necessary to sustain the good health of wild birds, as well as providing variety to their diet of the more common wild birdseed, such as sunflower seeds. Birds don’t like to eat the same thing day in and day out, anymore than we do!


By offering peanuts you can expect to see Doves, Chickadees,, Cardinals, Jays, Woodpeckers, Juncos, Titmice, Nuthatches, Towhees, Desert Cardinal (Pyrrhuloxia), Siskins, Finches, Wrens and even an occasional Raven, especially when offered in a feeder made for feeding peanuts.
