Organic Yellow Bush Scallop Squash Seed is most commonly referred to as Patty Pan squash or Scallop squash and has been described in colonial American literature since the 1700s. Bushy vines with large, showy yellow flowers produce fruit that is a bright sunny yellow, somewhat flattened and beautifully scalloped. Easy to grow and rarely bothered by insect pests, Patty Pan is compact enough to grow in smaller home garden spaces. Harvested when immature, you can serve these as “mini-veggies” steamed and presented along with the main course. Allowing them to grow larger gives you many more opportunities to show off your culinary prowess. Regardless, the texture is always creamy and they are extremely flavorful.
