The Mid Season Belgian Mum® blooms from September 21 to October 1. However due to their day-length sensitivity, this could vary due to weather conditions in your area. If you were to have a large amount of cloudy days, they would bloom sooner than their posted date and, by the same token, might bloom later if the days are consistently sunny. For maximum growth of your Mid Season Belgian Mum and to have a better chance for them to over-winter well, we recommend using a good liquid plant food at least twice each week. They do their best when they have plenty of water and fertilizer. Please note - once the mum starts to bloom, you should discontinue all fertilizer; the blossoms may fade if fertilizer is continued after blooming.
