Our ‘Gnome Mix’ Gomphrena Flower Seed is a mixture of Gnome Purple, Gnome Pink and Gnome White, all just different enough in coloration to mix well with our Buddy Mix Globe Amaranth. Growing a bit shorter, you can stair-step your border, growing the shorter Gnome mix in the front and the taller Buddy Mix in the back. You can do the same thing with a container. Grow Buddy Mix in the center and the Gnome Mix around the edges. This carefree, drought-resistant annual is easy to maintain and provides consistent color and interest! Gnome Mix Gomphrena Flower Seeds

Gomphrena flower seeds is one of the easiest to sow, germinating well both indoors and outdoors. Darkness is required for germination, so scatter the tiny seeds once all danger of frost has passed and then cover the seeds with a light layer of soil or vermiculite, no more than 1/4-inch. Water thoroughly but gently, keeping the bed consistently moist until the seedlings appear strong and healthy, thinning as needed. Germination normally takes place in 14 to 21 days at temperatures from 70 to 75°F. Once established, Gomphrena is drought tolerant and non-aggressive, even if you allow it to re-sow year after year.
