Wholesale Dusty Miller Plants

Ragwort or Silver Ragwort also goes under the widely used name of Dusty Miller, any of a number of plants that have a silvery-white coating upon their leaves and with woody stems that are often covered with fine whitish hairs. The blossoms are considered by some to be inconsequential and are removed upon their appearance so as not to rob the plant of energy needed for leafing; however other gardeners love the yellow, very tiny blossoms that somehow resemble a miniature Echinacea flower.


Our wholesale Ragwort plants are winter hardy to 5°F, preferring to be planted in full sun, though it is adaptable to light shade as well. Also widely amenable once established, it is recommended for naturalizing due to its fire resistance and salt tolerance, as well as the fact that deer don’t seem to want to munch on this one. Pinching the center new growth will encourage fullness, while feeding regularly will always improve the quality of your bedding or container plants.     


Each wholesale Ragwort plant tray will measure 21 3/8” X 11 3/16”, with each of 50 individual cells measuring 1 3/4” square X 2 1/4” deep.
