Sun Smile Red Morning Glory Flower Seeds

Morning Glory Flower Seeds can be started either outdoors or indoors. Prior to sowing, soak the seeds in warm water for 8 to 24 hours in order to speed the germination process. If starting indoors, we recommend using seed starting trays or peat pots, 4 to 6 weeks before the last frost date for your area. In Northern areas this is the most advantageous way to start Morning Glory, resulting in earlier bloom than if starting outdoors. Lightly cover the seeds with soil, keeping consistently moist until germination, which normally takes just 5 to 7 days at soil temperatures of 70 to 80°F. Thin the plants once the first true leaves appear, to between 8 to 12-inches apart. Once established, they will thrive in any soil, in full sun to very light shade as long as the soil is not too moist.
