Presto Handles

Handles break or become damaged because they are the single most touched, tugged and handled part of your pressure cooker or canner. Handles cannot be manufactured of stainless or aluminum and still be considered safe. Simply put, metals conduct heat.

Presto has designed their handles to last through years of use and abuse, and yet, they are not indestructible. When your Presto Pressure Canner or Pressure Cooker handle needs replacement, do it quickly. It is really not safe to continue to use your cooker with either a damaged handle or no handle at all.
