Polemonium Plants

Polemonium Plants produce bright, shade-loving flowers with unique foliage that makes it a popular plant for beds, borders and containers.

Polemonium, pronounced po-lee-MOE-nee-um, also commonly called Jacob's Ladder, has leaves that are opposite each other resembling a primitive step ladder. Part shade is preferred but full sun is tolerated in cooler zones. Too much shade reduces the size of the plant. Blooms April-May. Deadheading will maintain the mound-like feature of Jacob's Ladder throughout the season.
