Gaura Plants produce tall airy-looking flowers that have captured the fancy of many gardeners. This shrubby perennial with a tidy, clump-forming, growing habit, makes it an ideal candidate for borders or where more formal garden behavior is appreciated. Gaura, pronounced GOR-uh, also commonly called Bee Blossom, produces very pretty 4-petalled, butterfly-looking flowers and has a long blooming season. Bee Blossom has narrow, lance-shaped, stemless leaves, adding to their remarkably neat appearance. Gaura plants tolerate heat, humidity and drought and are excellent plants for sandy soil.
