Arizona Apricot Gaillardia Flower Seeds

SKU: SFS-GA-ARIA-ER
Our ‘Arizona Apricot’ Gaillardia Flower Seed is also called Perennial Blanket Flower, Indian Blanketflower or Firewheel, all due to its brilliant coloration and prolific blooming habit. The Arizona series of Gaillardia produces 3 1/2-inch, dual colored blossoms, each apricot-colored petal being dipped in vivid yellow for an exceptional display. The cone, which is burnt orange with a golden-green center, draws your eyes inward to the apricot blush gracing these daisy-like petals. We recommend growing with Arizona Red for non-stop, brilliant color! Approximately 25 seeds per each hand-filled packet. More details...

Arizona Apricot Gaillardia Flower Seeds

Gaillardia Flower Seed can be sown indoors for planting outdoors later or can be sown directly into the garden. In warmer climates, planting perennial seeds in the fall will usually result in blooming the first spring, as will starting them indoors and then transplanting outside once all danger of frost is past. Annual seeds will bloom the first year, regardless. You can broadcast the seeds over a wide area and rake them in lightly, or sow them in rows and barely cover them. Light aids the germination process, which will normally occur at temperatures between 70 and 80°F in approximately 20 days.
